Cutting the cost of renewable heat

The Renewable Heat Premium Payment (RHPP) scheme offers grants of up to £2,300 for householders to help pay for new renewable heating systems. However, time is running out as the scheme is due to end on 31 March 2014.

If you're a householder in a property not heated by gas from the Grid, you can apply for one of the following:

  •   £2,300 voucher towards the cost of a ground or water source heat pump
  •   £2,000 voucher towards the cost of a biomass boiler
  •   £1,300 voucher towards the cost of an air to water heat pump

Any householder can apply for a £600 voucher towards the cost of a solar thermal system, which will be valid for three months after issue or 31 March 2014, whichever is sooner.

You need to have a Green Deal Assessment completed on your property before you apply for payment. Plumb-Line is a certified Green Deal Assessor so contact us now for more details or to arrange a Green Deal Assessment.
